Our Partner Organization
Our partner is a respected organisation operating within the grocery and consumer goods sector, working closely with businesses, partners, and stakeholders to deliver meaningful research, insight, and industry initiatives. With a strong focus on evidence-based decision making, the organisation plays an important role in understanding industry trends, identifying opportunities, and delivering insight that helps shape future priorities. As they continue to invest in their insight capability, they are looking to appoint an Insight Manager who can transform complex data into compelling stories and actionable recommendations that influence strategic decisions across the organisation.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a purpose-driven organisation in a fully remote position on a 12-month fixed-term contract, where you'll have the autonomy to lead projects while working with passionate and collaborative colleagues.
The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Insight Manager who is passionate about turning data into meaningful insight.
- You'll be responsible for combining quantitative and qualitative research with strong analytical thinking and storytelling to create engaging reports, identify trends, and provide recommendations that support strategic decision-making.
- The successful candidate will enjoy working across multiple projects, collaborating with stakeholders from different teams, and communicating complex findings in a clear and engaging way.

Responsibilities
- Analyse quantitative and qualitative research to uncover meaningful trends and actionable insights.
- Develop engaging reports, presentations, and dashboards using strong storytelling and data visualisation techniques.
- Deliver strategic recommendations that support organisational planning and decision-making.
- Lead research projects from initial brief through to final delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Conduct desk research, market analysis, and trend monitoring to identify opportunities and emerging developments across the grocery and consumer goods landscape.
- Own key research programmes, managing timelines, priorities, and stakeholder expectations.
- Present findings confidently to internal teams, senior stakeholders, and external audiences where appropriate.
- Collaborate with colleagues across multiple functions to ensure insight supports wider organisational objectives.
- Review and quality assure research outputs, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and high standards throughout.
- Continuously improve reporting processes, methodologies, and ways of working within the insight function.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure insight remains commercially relevant, evidence-led, and aligned with organisational priorities.
Requirements
- Previous experience within an Insight Manager, Consumer Insight, Market Research, Strategy, or Analytics role.
- Experience gained within consultancy, research agencies, FMCG, retail, consumer goods, or another insight-led environment would be highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and identify meaningful trends.
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to present data and recommendations clearly to a variety of audiences.
- Experience creating engaging reports and presentations using storytelling and data visualisation techniques.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to build relationships across different teams.
- Highly organised with excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience using Power BI, Tableau, Python, or similar data visualisation and analytics tools would be advantageous but is not essential.
- A naturally curious mindset with a passion for uncovering insights that drive better decision-making.
