The Recipe (About the Role)
The Insights Manager is responsible for supporting the delivery of high‑quality, actionable insight that informs brand, innovation, category, and commercial choices. The role turns research findings and consumer data into clear, evidence‑based recommendations that shape day‑to‑day choices and longer‑term brand strategy.
Working closely with the Insight Lead, the role executes research plans, manages end‑to‑end insight projects, and helps embed consumer thinking across the business. As Weetabix continues to grow and adopt enhanced technologies, the Insights Manager will increasingly leverage digital analytics, trend data, and advanced tools to generate richer, faster and more predictive insights.
- Deliver end‑to‑end insight projects – own qualitative and quantitative research from scoping and agency briefing through to actionable recommendations
- Turn data into compelling stories – examine multiple data sources (research, brand tracking, sales, category and digital analytics) to uncover trends, behaviours and opportunities, presenting these in a way that influences choices
- Shape commercial and brand choices – combine datasets to create holistic insight narratives that works on strategy, highlight risks and unlock opportunities
- Partner across the business – collaborate with Brand, Innovation, Category, Sales, Shopper and New Product Development teams to embed insight into briefs, marketing plans and key points
- Help innovation and ideation – bring consumer trends and behaviours into concept development, helping refine ideas, packaging, claims and propositions to ensure they meet genuine consumer needs
- Drive performance insight – contribute to brand and category reviews, including brand health tracking, campaign evaluation and performance reporting, making insights accessible and easy to apply
- Manage agency relationships and governance – work closely with research partners to deliver high-quality outputs, while overseeing timelines, budgets and compliance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and research ethics
- Own insight for new breakfast opportunities – provide consumer and channel expertise to help new product development, tracking emerging trends and evolving consumption occasions

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
