Insolvency and Restructuring Partner

Insolvency & Restructuring Partner – London

The Role

Our client, a long-established UK commercial law firm, is recruiting an Insolvency & Restructuring Partner to lead and develop its insolvency offering. The firm operates within a global network and has grown strategically over the years, through both acquisition and organic expansion. Notable practice areas include:

  • Banking & Finance
  • Commercial & Corporate
  • Real Estate (both Corporate and Investment & Finance)
  • Disputes

A leadership opportunity has arisen following the retirement of the former Head of Insolvency. This role offers unlimited strategic ownership and full backing in developing the insolvency division as a core part of the firm’s long-term strategy. A supportive senior associate and mid-level associate team remain in place, ensuring seamless client relationship transition.

The Insolvency & Restructuring Group provides comprehensive advice on UK and international corporate and personal insolvency matters, working closely with:

  • Insolvency practitioners
  • Executives and directors
  • financiers and credit controllers

The practice supports clients through the full lifecycle of distress, from early-stage restructuring and rescue strategies to formal enforcement and liquidation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
