Insolvency Partner / Senior Solicitor – Birmingham – Competitive Salary + Bonus + Benefits
A highly regarded, mid-tier Legal 500 firm is looking to appoint an Insolvency Partner / Senior Solicitor to join its expanding Birmingham office, as part of a clearly defined and ambitious growth strategy. With continued investment, strong financial performance, and an established national platform, this presents an excellent opportunity to take on a senior leadership role and shape a developing insolvency offering in the Midlands, working alongside an experienced and well-connected senior team on complex, high-value matters. The Role:
- Leading on a broad range of restructuring and insolvency matters, including contentious and non-contentious work
- Advising on insolvency litigation, including office-holder claims and recovery actions
- Handling director and shareholder disputes arising from distressed situations
- Advising on transaction avoidance claims, including preferences and transactions at undervalue
- Supporting enforcement of security and wider recovery strategies
- Working closely with stakeholders on restructuring, acquisitions, and consensual arrangements
- Acting on cross-border insolvency matters and multi-jurisdictional disputes
- Playing a key role in business development, client relationship management, and team growth

The Candidate:
- An experienced Restructuring & Insolvency Solicitor operating at Partner level, or a Legal Director / Senior Associate ready to step up
- Strong technical expertise across insolvency, restructuring, and related disputes
- A proven or developing client following, with the ability to generate work and build a sustainable pipeline
- Commercially driven, with the ambition to establish and grow a leading insolvency offering in the region
- Experience gained within a reputable regional, national, or international firm
- Ambitious and motivated, with a clear interest in progression towards Equity Partnership
