Job Description
Role Overview
Oversees inspection operations to ensure products, equipment, or processes meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Manages inspection teams, reviews findings, and ensures corrective actions are implemented when issues are identified.
This role is responsible for the day-to-day operational functionality and supervising the performance of the inspection operations from off-load of trailers, to presentation for inspection, and reload onto trailers. Ensure cleanliness and compliance of working environments to relevant health and hygiene standards. Maintain and drive a positive health and safety working environment.
How You Create Impact
Operational / Tactical Duties
- Supervising teams in daily activities
- Coordinating daily working groups and workloads
- Prioritising taskings and carrying out relevant administrative tasks to ensure the successful running of operational teams and processes
- Loading and unloading lorries including manual handling, using roller cages, and other MHE
- Ensuring the correct handling of all client products at all stages within the facility whilst remaining compliant with manual handling procedures and health and safety legislation
- Undertaking manual and/or electronic reporting requirements as requested
- Working with our on-site partners to support the inspection process
- Updating the PINC Yard Management System following training
- Carrying out operational tasks to achieve departmental and site objectives
- Maintaining the inspection environment following training
- COSHH Awareness following training
- Participating and completing required training and development relevant to the role
- Championing a health and safety culture
