About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) Co-ordinator (FTC) to join our Quality team. This is a key role responsible for ensuring Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) are accurately maintained throughout the production lifecycle, supporting compliance with customer purchase orders and quality requirements.
As more of our customers require completed ITPs as part of their project deliverables, this role is essential in ensuring all quality documentation is complete, traceable, and readily available for customer review and approval.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate and maintain Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) throughout the manufacturing and build process
- Ensure ITPs are completed progressively and remain up to date at every stage of production
- Gather, verify, and maintain all supporting quality documentation, including:
- Certificates of Conformity (CoCs)
- Material Certificates
- Goods Received Notes (GRNs)
- Test Reports
- Works Orders
- Route Cards
- Any additional documentation required to demonstrate full process compliance
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and available for customer review and sign-off
- Monitor production against ITP hold points and notify relevant project stakeholders when inspections or approvals are required
- Act as the gatekeeper for quality hold points, ensuring production does not progress until the required inspections and approvals have been completed
- Work closely with Quality, Production, Engineering and Project teams to ensure compliance with customer and internal quality requirements
- Support internal and external audits by providing complete and accurate quality records
- Identify documentation gaps and work proactively with the wider business to resolve them

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
