This role will ensure that all product manufactured conforms to the design specifications, batch cards and required industry standards.

Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities
Participate in a positive and proactive EHS culture across the site. Manually inspect components to required customer standards using key inspection equipment (e.g. Micrometer, Verniers, Faro Arm). Operate the CMM (as set by the CMM Programmers) to inspect components and analyse results to ensure adherence to customer standards. Conduct independent oversight inspection (e.g. DSQR, DPRV, COP). Working with the Engineering team to develop inspection plans. Offer improvements to methods of inspection, whilst developing best practice techniques. Produce dimensional reports when a FAIR is required. Ensure adherence to batch cards, drawings and specifications. Working closely with other Operational team to ensure that the factory plan is adhered to. Adhere to control measures identified in area Safety Risk Assessment and promote a safe working environment. To carry out any other duties that may be necessary to meet departmental objectives.

Person Specification
Ability to interpret engineering drawings. Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Flexible across different components and potential shift patterns. Previous aerospace manufacturing and/or equivalent technical experience. Strong organisational skills. Ability to work on own initiative. Ability to work within in a team environment. Ability to communicate in an effective manner to different levels within the organisation.
