Installation and Field Support Engineer
Coeval is seeking an Installation & Technical Support Engineer to join our growing Scottish operation.
Based in Glasgow, this role offers the opportunity to work on the installation, maintenance, and support of innovative highway technology systems across Scotland and the wider UK. We encourage applications from candidates located in and around Glasgow, while also welcoming those for whom travel to our Glasgow location is practical.

Key Responsibilities
- Install electronic messaging signs, ancillary equipment, and other bespoke technology systems, either independently or as part of a team.
- Carry out maintenance visits and fault-finding activities across Scotland and the UK as required.
- Liaise professionally with customers, contractors, and other site personnel.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with site specifications and quality standards.
- Successfully complete mandatory NHSS training requirements.
- Assist with the assembly, testing, and preparation of equipment within a workshop environment.
- Support out-of-hours service and installation requirements when necessary.
- Undertake training relating to new equipment, systems, and technologies through formal courses and on-the-job learning.
- Comply with all Company Health & Safety policies and procedures, proactively identifying and minimising potential hazards wherever possible.

Experience
Desirable
- Experience of working outdoors and at height.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience installing electrical or electronic equipment within the highways sector or a similar environment.
- Knowledge of roadside technology, traffic management, or infrastructure systems.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to travel and work across Scotland and the UK as required.
- Based within a reasonable commuting distance of the Glasgow area.
