The Role
As an Installation Engineer, you will work closely with the Lead Installation Engineer to ensure the seamless installation of platform lifts. This role requires flexibility, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering excellent service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Cibes platform lift installation team, taking direction from the Lead Engineer.
- Travel across the UK and Channel Islands for installation projects, often requiring time away from home (Monday – Friday).
- Successfully install and commission lifts in line with health & safety regulations and cost control measures.
- Support lift servicing and breakdowns when required, in accordance with your skills and experience.
- Be flexible to work overtime when necessary to meet urgent customer demands.
- Complete scheduled installations, maintenance, and service work to the highest standard.
- Contribute ideas and suggestions to support company growth and innovation.
- Perform additional tasks aligned with the role as required.

What We’re Looking For
- Experience in an engineering role, preferably within the lift or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and engineering principles.
- Proficiency in using relevant tools and equipment.
- A full, clean UK driving licence.
- Ability to study towards an NVQ Level 2 – Platform Lift Installation.
- Willingness to travel and stay away from home as required.

Working Conditions
