Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Fire Systems Installation Engineer. The role involves installing, maintaining, and inspecting fire alarm systems and other related safety equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards. Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with clients and team members to design and implement effective fire safety solutions
- Troubleshooting technical issues
- Providing guidance on system usage
- Timely completion of projects
- Maintaining accurate records

Qualifications
- Proficiency in Fire System Installation, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting
- Understanding of Fire Safety Codes, Compliance Requirements, and Industry Standards
- Technical skills in Electrical Systems and Testing
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service Abilities
- Strong Organizational and Record-Keeping Skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Relevant certifications in fire safety systems or electrical engineering (preferred)
- Previous experience in a similar role and a background in the electrical or fire safety industry (advantageous)

Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 Electrician or Full Electrical Apprenticeship
- ECS Gold Card (FESS)
- Commercial installation experience
- FIA Training
- IPAF Qualification
- Full UK Driving License (maximum 6 points)
Preferred Experience
- Fire Alarm System Engineer background
- Experience with multi-panel or large-scale installations
- Familiarity with commissioning or fault finding
