Installation Engineer
Reporting to: Installations Field Manager
Hours: Full time, Monday to Saturday, 45hrs a week, 7.30am-5.30pm
1 Saturday Per Month Paid as Overtime

Salary:
We provide a competitive starting salary ranging from £30,100 to £34,000.
Additionally, you can earn a target bonus of 20% of your salary, along with extra pay for one additional Saturday per month.
With these incentives, your on-target earnings can reach up to £39,000 per year!

Job Purpose:
Reporting directly to the Field Manager, The Installation Engineer will be installing a fibre connection into the customer. The Installation Engineer has a key role in installing right first time whilst maintaining an outstanding customer service for our customers, updating relevant systems in a timely manner throughout the day.

You will however be expected to complete any work within the department that the company requires due to work volumes from our ISP partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Primarily work on customer installations.
- Installing into a customer premises, maintaining the highest standard of customer service.
- Manage the tools issued and the vehicle assigned to you as per our vehicle policy.
- Complete assigned tasks on time and manage day-to-day jobs.
- Maintaining H&S compliance.
- Work individually and as part of a team to achieve targets and KPIs.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experience working in a similar role, working on or on behalf of the Openreach Network.
- Ability to conduct risk assessment and hazard identification, with a strong emphasis on Health and Safety practices.
- Demonstrable experience and a proven track record working in a networking engineering environment. (preferred).
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Clear and concise communication abilities.
- Physical fitness for manual handling tasks.
- Ability to foster excellent working relationships within your team, with your manager, and with other teams within the company, with an excellent customer service attitude.
- A proactive approach to improving efficiencies and working smarter.

Requirements
- Must hold a full UK driving Licence for minimum 12 months.
- SA001, SA002, S7, S8 or equivalent are desirable.
- IPAF 1b are desirable.
- NRSWA unit 2 (minimum) desirable.
- SMART AWARDS preferable desirable.
- Have telecommunications experience or transferable skills.
