About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Installation Engineer to join our growing team in our Nottingham office (2bm), working across a range of client data centre projects. This is a varied role where no two projects are the same - you’ll be part of a team delivering high-quality installations, upgrades, and modifications across mission-critical environments.
If you enjoy practical work, problem-solving, and working closely with others in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Measuring, planning, and delivering full installs of aisle containment systems
- Installing a variety of cold and hot aisle containment solutions from different manufacturers
- Installing and remediating IT cabinets and associated components (including power supplies, sensors, cyber locks, rack-mounted UPS systems, switches, and underfloor water detection systems)
- Carrying out full data hall strip-outs
- Installing cable trays and trunking
- Acting as the main on-site fabricator, including bespoke alterations and modifications
- Installing condensers
- Installing rear door heat exchangers and associated frameworks
- Supporting wider project work, including:
- Electrical cabinet installations
- Cutting cable throughways
- Pipe lagging

What We’re Looking For
- A practical, hands-on individual with a strong work ethic
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach with clients
- Previous installation or mechanical/electrical experience is desirable but not essential
Qualifications & Training
- No formal qualifications required
- A CSCS card is advantageous, but we can support you in obtaining one
- Full on-the-job training will be provided

Other information: The role is a full-time position, and your base salary will be commensurate with experience but is expected to be highly competitive. The opportunity is located at our our Nottingham office and will involve frequent travel to client sites in the UK.
