Job Title: Installation Manager – Renewable Energy
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 base + bonus up to £8,500
Location: Kent & Essex

Why this role
You will lead end-to-end delivery across domestic projects, turning technical designs into fully commissioned systems that delight customers and protect margins. Reporting to senior leadership, you’ll build and motivate installation teams, refine processes and embed best-practice quality and safety standards. Your decisions will drive on-time completion, regulatory compliance and continuous operational improvement.

What you’ll do
- Manage multiple UK sites simultaneously, coordinating specialist installers, scaffolding and logistics partners to keep projects on programme.
- Conduct pre-tender surveys, providing technical design and procurement input that ensures accurate bills of materials and cost-effective sourcing.
- Oversee testing, commissioning and handover on site, confirming systems meet performance targets and all documentation is audit-ready.
- Monitor labour and material budgets, safeguarding project profitability while driving safety improvements under CDM regulations and H&S legislation.

About you
- Hold recognised electrical and renewable-energy qualifications (e.g. C&G 2360 Part 1 & 2 or NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition BS 7671, SSSTS, MCS-accredited Solar PV certification).
- Have proven leadership experience managing field teams and subcontractors on residential Solar PV, battery storage and EV charging projects.
- Possess strong organisational skills and technical know-how to resolve on-site challenges swiftly.
- Demonstrate commercial insight to keep projects profitable.
- Hold a full UK driving licence and ECS Gold Card.
