**Installation Operations Lead – Semiconductor Equipment Specialist

Are you a self-driven professional passionate about complex, large-scale equipment installations in high-technology environments? Do you thrive in roles requiring meticulous organisation, logistics, and seamless customer experience delivery? If ownership, project leadership, and minimal supervision excite you, this role could be your next big step.

About the Role

This position offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in next-generation semiconductor development by managing end-to-end installations of highly complex measurement equipment across global manufacturing sites and research centres.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Lead high-impact installations from planning to completion.
  • Champion customer-focused solutions and proactive problem-solving.
  • Foster collaboration across engineering, logistics, and service teams.
  • Take ownership of project delivery with integrity and drive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage comprehensive installation processes for large, technically complex equipment.
  • Coordinate across internal teams (engineering, logistics, and service) to ensure on-time, specifications-compliant delivery.
  • Be the primary customer contact, maintaining transparent communication and managing expectations throughout the lifecycle.
  • Mitigate risks by resolving scheduling conflicts, site readiness issues, and logistical challenges proactively.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and customer sign-offs.
  • Travel to customer sites when necessary to oversee critical installations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
