Installation Supervisor – Lifts & Escalators

Location: Cannock | Contract: Permanent | Full-Time | Sector: Engineering & Automotive | Work: On-Site

The Role: Installation Supervisor

As part of ORONA’s dynamic Engineering & Automotive team, this full-time, on-site position offers an opportunity to lead high-quality installations of cutting-edge lift systems. Based in Cannock (UK), this role focuses on leadership, safety, and operational excellence within one of the industry’s premier companies.

Key Responsibilities

Lead & Supervise High-Quality Installations

  • Conduct on-site inductions and training for new installers to ensure project readiness.
  • Complete client and contract manager surveys, reporting issues via detailed reports for review.
  • Perform regular mechanical & electrical quality checks at key stages to maintain industry compliance.
  • Deliver constructive feedback and targeted training to uphold high installation standards.

Lead & Develop Your Installation Team

  • Manage a diverse team of installation professionals, adapting your leadership style (coaching/motivating/directing).
  • Foster a positive, supportive work environment where employees thrive.
  • Address performance issues promptly and fairly to sustain excellence.

Safety First – Always

  • Prioritise Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) compliance, ensuring strict adherence to protocols.
  • Ensure all team members wear correct PPE and maintain a safety-first mindset.

Efficient Reporting & Communication

  • Track installation progress and communicate updates with teams and management.
  • Complete all job sheets, reports, and quality checks accurately, per company procedures.
  • Build strong client relationships, updating stakeholders on progress.

Oversee Tools & Equipment

  • Ensure teams have access to properly maintained and certified tools for each project.

Requirements

Must:

  • Be eligible to work in the UK.
  • Hold a clean UK driving licence.
  • Have proven experience in the lift industry.
  • Be willing to work on-site (Cannock) in a full-time, permanent role.
