Key Technician – Commercial Refrigeration

Responsibilities
Technicians are expected to:
- Complete assigned projects timely and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Acquire skills through hands-on training, including:
- New product developments
- Latest service bulletins and troubleshooting strategies
Key Tasks
✔ Maintain inventory accuracy, vehicle upkeep, and software documentation. ✔ Interpret job-site plans, blueprints, and service manuals for:
- Cables, communication systems, and energy management/fridge components ✔ Technical operations, including but not limited to:
- Soldering copper piping, configuring 90°/45° fittings and tees
- Diagnosing water leak issues
- Pipe sizing and high-elevation installations
- Leak detection, hanger fabrication, and thorough clean-up
- Read, interpret, and apply technical documents, bureaus, and regulations ✔ Handle multiple priorities with minimal supervision

Requirements
Education & Experience
✅ zure to requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent OR
- 10+ years’ related experience
- Proven reliability with zero on-the-job errors
✅ Preferred qualifications:
- Technical college degree (exempts from 1-year experience requirement)
- EPA 608 Certification (milestone, but not required)
Physical & Skill Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)
- Ability to:
- Climb ladders and work at elevated sites
- Lift 50+ lb loads
- Work nights, weekends, and off-site as needed
- Strong performance in:
- Mechanical aptitude
- Organisation, time management
- Problem-solving and decision-making under pressure
Requirements (Compliance & Soft Skills)
✅ Must pass background/medical checks ✅ Must pass EEOC eligibility criteria* ✅ Must demonstrate:
- Excellent verbal/written communication
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable mindset
- Strong team player or leader as required
