Installations Team Supervisor (Office Based)

Installations Team Supervisor – Full Time (Permanent) at Acorn Stairlifts (West Yorkshire)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Installations Team Supervisor to join our UK Installation Department, based at our Headquarters in Steeton (West Yorkshire, UK). The role will involve effectively supervising the UK Installations Department to ensure high standards of service delivery and team performance.

Ideal candidate profile:

  • Enthusiastic individual with proven leadership experience
  • Strong track record in delivering excellent customer service
  • Ability to manage teams and meet operational targets

Contract & Working Details

  • Type of Contract: Full Time, Permanent
  • Salary: £29,500 per annum (DOE)
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 40 hours

Key Responsibilities

The role requires the supervision of daily operations to drive team efficiency and customer satisfaction. Key duties include:

  • Ensuring daily, weekly, and monthly tasks are completed within required deadlines
  • Allocating and managing human and logistical resources to support the planning team in hitting targets
  • Monitoring and improving performance of the installation office and field teams
  • Identifying training needs and arranging support/development opportunities
  • Clear & consistent communication with all installation coordinators, office staff, and field-based employees
  • Site visits to monitor installations, repairs, and maintenance work for quality assurance

Skills & Experience

Must Have:

✔ Proven leadership & team management experience ✔ Strong organisation & planning capabilities ✔ Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills ✔ Technical/IT knowledge of industry systems ✔ Geographical awareness to optimise job allocation and logistics ✔ Ability to prioritise and thrive in fast-paced environments

✔ Site management experience, including:

  • Supervision of operational teams (construction, repair, maintenance)
