About the Role
Waltons is one of the UK's leading suppliers of timber garden buildings. Due to continued growth, we're expanding our network of professional self-employed Installation Partners across England, Scotland and Wales.
We're looking for experienced installation teams and individual installers who take pride in delivering outstanding workmanship and customer service.
Whether you're an established installation team, carpenter, joiner, general builder or landscape contractor, we’d like to hear from you.
The Role
This is a hands-on, field-based role at the heart of our installation network. You will be responsible for the assembly and installation of a wide range of timber garden buildings at customer sites across your agreed area.
This role suits experienced carpenters, joiners, builders, landscape contractors, or established installation teams who are confident working to high standards and enjoy delivering quality results directly to customers.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
