Reporting to: Installation Manager
The Challenge
You will work on the installation, refurbishment, maintenance, and repair of traffic signals and electrical infrastructure, contributing directly to projects that improve traffic flow and road safety.
Principal Responsibilities
- Install, refurbish, and maintain traffic signal equipment and related infrastructure.
- Support the installation and maintenance of:
- CCTV
- Street lighting
- Barrier systems
- Ensure all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues, customers, and contractors on site.
- Follow Health & Safety policies, company procedures, and industry regulations.
- Contribute to on-time project delivery.

Key Tasks
- Installation and commissioning of traffic signal equipment.
- Refurbishment and repair of existing traffic signal assets.
- Installation and maintenance of electrical street furniture and systems.
- Conduct all site-based work safely and professionally.
- Complete documentation accurately and within deadlines.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, equipment, and PPE.
- Attend training courses and development programs.
- Support team members for premium performance.

Profile
Qualifications & Skills
Essential
- GCSEs (or equivalents) in English and Maths.
- Strong electrical aptitude with a willingness to learn.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working outdoors and at height.
- A positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication and organisation skills.

Desirable (Preferable but not mandatory)
- Experience in electrical installation or maintenance.
- Background in traffic signals, street lighting, highways, utilities, or related fields.
- Relevant electrical qualifications.
- Site-based infrastructure project experience.
