Challenge: Vacancy for Traffic Signal Installer
Location:** St Albans / Hertfordshire** (field-based role)
We seek a Traffic Signal Installer to join our team, responsible for:
- Installing, refurbishing, and repairing traffic signals and other electrical street equipment (e.g., street lighting, CCTV, barrier systems)
- Following customer specifications and handover procedures
- Adhering to QHSSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental) regulations
While primarily based in St Albans, occasional work in Service Centre districts may involve overnight stays.

Profile: Key Requirements
To excel in this role, the following skills and credentials are essential:
- GCSEs in English, Maths & Sciences (or equivalent qualifications)
- Sector 8 Accreditation (desirable; training provided if required)
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Requirements for traffic signal site installation & theoretical understanding
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfort with working at heights
- Organised, motivated work ethic
- Full driving licence (UK)
- Right to live and work in the UK
