Flexible Self-Employed Opportunity – Installer (Full or Part-Time)

Imagine working for yourself, close to home, at your own pace, around your lifestyle and commitments. Join our network of over 1,200 local Advisors and enjoy great earnings while enjoying the freedom to shape your schedule.

About the Role

Hillarys, established over 50 years ago, remains the UK’s leading provider of window furnishings solutions, with an annual turnover of £250m. We’re still growing and looking for more self-employed Advisors to join our team.

As an Installer, your role is to:

  • Visit customers in their homes to measure and install a fantastic range of products, including shutters.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to ensure a seamless experience.

Our Design Consultants will process orders and handle payments, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional service.

No prior experience is necessary – we provide all the training! Most of our self-employed Advisors started from scratch and have since built successful careers with our support. While experience in construction, joinery, carpentry, window fitting, or kitchen installation is beneficial, your strong desire to learn and our award-winning training will set you up for success.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
