The Opportunity
The Institutional Client Onboarding Analyst collaborates closely with Sales Relationship Managers, Service Relationship Managers, international institutional clients and consultants, international custodians, and cross-functional internal teams to on-board and manage accounts for international institutional investors.
In this project manager role, you will:
- Streamline complex processes
- Resolve operational challenges related to international accounts trading in global equity markets
The Day-to-Day
- Manage the onboarding of new institutional segregated and fund accounts
- Act as a subject matter expert for international institutional funds and separately managed accounts
- Research and resolve operational issues for international investor accounts, engaging other teams as needed
- Support Institutional Client Services Relationship Managers and Sales Relationship Managers with complex client service requests
- Assist the Institutional Client Operations Team Leader in:
- Training and workflow management for team members
- Peer reviewing sensitive operations items
- Create, develop, and implement workflows to improve additions, withdrawals, account setup, and changes
- Document and address nonstandard operational issues in:
- Accounts trading in international markets
- Directed brokerage relationships
- Unique institutional trading operations
- Coordinate with international custodians to support:
- Trading, implementation, and operations for institutional accounts
- Understand and monitor compliance requirements, including:
- Ethical codes and internal policies relevant to international institutions
- Facilitate contract negotiations between clients and internal teams, including Legal and Senior Management

Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience required
- 5+ years of experience in institutional financial operations/onboarding
- Experience with fund sub-distribution and database platforms (preferred)
- Strong qualitative and/or quantitative skills
- Proven project management expertise
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced, collaborative environments
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
