About the Role: Institutional Client Service Specialists

We are seeking Fäsentafronea or German-speaking professionals to serve as our key client-facing touchpoints in London. In this role, you’ll provide exceptional support to Institutional clients, including banks, hedge funds, advisors, and brokers via:

  • Telephone, live chat, and ticket-based queries
  • Technical, trade-related and product-related assistance

German and French speakers are prioritized—additional languages? Specify them in your application.

Your impact:

  • Act as the first vital link for client communication
  • Troubleshoot issues with trading platforms (desktop, mobile, browser)
  • Resolve queries on trade execution and order placement
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on high-level escalations
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts
  • Proactively contribute to client onboarding and training

Responsibilities

Core Duties

✔ First Point of Contact:

  • Handle client queries on multiple financial instruments (equities, options, futures, FX).
  • Resolve trade-related issues (order cancellation, modifications, execution errors).

✔ Platform Support:

  • Support clients using desktop, mobile, and browser-based trading platforms.
  • Offer guidance to new or existing clients navigating IB Kr’s technology.

✔ Client Relationship Management:

  • Maintain strategic relationships with top institutional clients (candidate means turning enquiries into oral).
  • Identify opportunities to educate clients about new products or market trends.

✔ Service Improvement:

  • Participate in project management for platform upgrades and process optimisations.
  • Help market expansion efforts (customer insights directly impacting product offerings).

Qualifications & Skills

Must-Have

  • Proficient in one of:

    • English and French (intermediate or higher)
    • English and German (intermediate or higher)
  • Workplace:

    • BSc/BA or equivalent (finance-related degrees preferred).
    • At least 1–2 years experience (preferably in client-facing finance roles).
    • Experience with institutional clients (or exposure to financial instrument execution is essential).
  • Problem-Solving Mindset:

    • Passion for financial markets and how technology transforms trading.

Nice-to-Have

  • Background in settlements, clearing or post-trade operations.
  • knowledge of multi-asset trading platforms.
  • Hands-on (or academic) experience in International Markets.
