Aequitas Research is a leading independent equity research firm with a focus on initial public offerings and follow-on offerings/placements. We only cater to institutional clients, including some of the largest hedge funds and long-only funds. We combine fundamental bottom-up views with our proprietary quantitative framework to provide a holistic analysis.

Covering APAC markets since 2018, we have been expanding our US markets coverage and are looking to hire a sales person in our London office to sell subscriptions to clients in the US and UK. The role involves selling subscription based research to asset management teams and doesn’t involve any direct sales of equity/investment products. The candidate will report directly to the Head of Research and will work closely with analysts based in London, Singapore and Mumbai. We are a tight-knit team with a mission to add value to investors.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
