We are partnering with a global Investment Management firm who is looking to hire a seasoned UK Institutional Sales candidate in London. This is a great opportunity to collaborate with the Head of Institutional to take a leading role in the development of the UK institutional business.

Working within a dynamic sales team, you will be responsible for:

  • Build and implement a business development plan to grow the UK business.
  • Manage the existing UK book of business and work on cross-selling opportunities
  • Target and represent the company's strategies and expertise across both public and private markets
  • Keep up to date with the firm's new products and relevant industry developments
  • Work with the marketing team to increase branding in the UK institutional space.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Institutional sales experience in the asset management industry is essential
  • A strong aptitude for business development with a proven sales track record
  • Strong knowledge of the UK institutional market, both in terms of end buyers and consultants that influence buyer decisions.
  • Entrepreneurial mind-set with the ability to bring new ideas
  • Vision for strategy and how to develop the client book
  • Proven track record of insurance sales is preferred
