Carl Stahl Evita Ltd is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Lifting Operations Trainer & Assessor to join our growing training division based in Rotherham.
This is an exciting opportunity for a practical, industry-experienced professional who is passionate about developing people, promoting safe working practices, and helping organisations build competent, confident, and productive workforces.
Working from our dedicated training centre and at customer sites throughout the UK, you will deliver engaging training programmes, assess competence against recognised industry standards, and contribute to the continued development of our expanding training portfolio.
As our training division continues to grow, you will also play an active role in developing new training courses, learning materials, and service offerings, helping us expand the support we provide to customers across a wide range of industries.
The Role
As a Lifting Operations Trainer & Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering and assessing a range of practical and classroom-based training programmes, helping delegates develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence required to work safely and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective practical and classroom-based training programmes.
- Assess delegate competence in line with recognised industry standards and awarding body requirements.
- Support customers in developing safer working practices and improving workforce competence.
- Prepare and maintain training materials, course documentation, and assessment records.
- Provide practical demonstrations, coaching, and support throughout the learning process.
- Assist in the development and continuous improvement of training courses and learning resources.
- Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, safety, and customer service.
- Represent Carl Stahl Evita professionally at both our training centre and customer premises.
- Keep up to date with relevant legislation, industry developments, and best practice.
About You
You will have practical industry experience and a genuine passion for helping others learn, develop, and succeed.

Previous experience delivering training and/or carrying out assessments within lifting operations, forklift truck operation, workplace safety, or related industrial environments is essential.
You will also possess:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- The ability to engage delegates from a wide range of backgrounds and experience levels.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- A professional, customer-focused approach.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK and stay away from home when required.
