Job Description
You will lead and coordinate complex I&C commissioning scopes across multiple integrated nuclear plant systems.
Working within cross-functional teams, you will oversee commissioning delivery through:
- Testing phases
- Integration activities
- Operational readiness
Key Responsibilities
⚙️ Lead I&C commissioning activities—manage end-to-end execution across multiple nuclear plant commissioning scopes 📅 Plan and execute commissioning sequences supporting:
- Energisation milestones
- Handover formalities
- Startup programme deadlines
🧪 Oversee technical testing, including:
- Loop checks
- Functional validation
- Integrated system commissioning
🔍 Assure compliance through rigorous reviews of:
- Commissioning procedures
- Vendor documentation
- Nuclear safety & regulatory requirements
🤝 Collaborate closely with:
- Construction teams
- Operations
- Mechanical & electrical project teams

🛡️ Maintain compliance with nuclear safety and regulatory standards
🖥️ Support commissioning involving:
- DCS (Distributed Control Systems)
- PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers)
- SIS (Safety Instrumented Systems)
- Field instrumentation
⚠️ Lead resolution activities, including:
- Technical fault-finding
- Issues resolution
- Commissioning risk management
📊 Provide transparent reporting on:
- Commissioning progress
- Readiness assessment
- Risks & project constraints
📋 Manage key deliverables, such as:
- Commissioning documentation
- Punch lists
- Final system handover activities
Requirements
Qualifications & Technical Expertise
🎓 Degree qualified in:
- Instrumentation
- Electrical or Control Systems
- Related engineering disciplines
🏭 Step up your career:
- Extensive commissioning experience—complex regulated or nuclear infrastructure
- Deep expertise in:
- DCS, PLC, SIS systems
- Field instrumentation commissioning
🛡️ Preferred: Experience in nuclear or highly regulated operational environments
👥 Proven leadership:
- Managed multi-scope I&C projects successfully
- Faced and resolved high-stakes commissioning challenges
📏 Technical rigor:
- Strong knowledge of:
- Commissioning procedures
- Compliance standards & testing methodologies
🔒 Process experience:
- Permit-to-work systems
- LOTO (Lockout/Tagout)
- Configuration control
- Change management
