The Opportunity – Insurance Accounts Assistant
About the role:
Role of Accounts Assistant in the finance team of JCB Insurance Services Limited, aiding various stakeholders of the company, including but not limited to company leadership and wider finance team, company insurance agents, clients and suppliers; reporting to the Finance Manager.
Ideal candidate will be a hard-working self-starter, who is eager to learn and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Tasks are varied and focal, as the finance team is key to the effective and efficient operation of the company, with attention to detail and productivity paramount.
Full training will be provided but experience in an accounting environment is desirable.
Full time, 36.25 hours Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

This will be suited to you if…
- Experience in credit control and/or purchase ledger and/or general accounting processes desirable
- Good with numbers and problem solving
- Accounting qualification, such as AAT, desirable but not required
- Good knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office products, and digitally fluent
- Outgoing/personable – capable of communicating with all stakeholders in the company
- Self-starter
- Eager to learn and embrace change
- Enquiring mindset
