Insurance Advisor

Insurance Advisor – Howden Consumer & Local Commercial

With a no-limits approach, we can rise to any challenge. Whether it’s answering key questions, addressing concerns, or mitigating risks, we get the right people together to find the right answers. Our collective strength also helps shape the insurance industry—and change the narrative—for good, by promoting fairness, transparency, and resilience for clients, businesses, and communities. From pro bono work to insuring COVID-19 vaccine development, we leverage our expertise, networks, and innovative thinking to drive positive change.

We’re seeking an ambitious Insurance Advisor to join our Howden Consumer & Local Commercial team—a role with the potential for growth, training, and qualifications included.

About the Role

You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, relational environment where building relationships and understanding client needs is at the heart of everything we do. Our solutions are never one-size-fits-all—every client’s business is unique, so your ability to problem-solve is crucial.

You don’t need prior insurance experience—we provide on-site training, workshops, coaching, and full training to complete industry-recognised qualifications. We support your growth through structured support and learning opportunities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
