Insurance AI Solutions Lead About the Role We are seeking a founding Insurance AI Solutions Lead FurtherAI - a uniquely hybrid role that combines deep insurance domain expertise with hands-on customer implementation leadership. This is a high-impact, in-person position based in London. You will own end-to-end customer implementations – from pre-sales and kickoff through go-live and sustained adoption - while also serving as FurtherAI’s internal subject matter expert on commercial and London Markets insurance. You will bring the credibility to walk into an underwriting or claims team and immediately earn their trust, and the project management rigor to get complex deployments across the finish line. As part of our GTM team, you’ll work directly with FurtherAI leadership & engineers to translate real-world insurance workflows into scalable AI solutions. Why Join FurtherAI? What You’ll Do Customer Implementation Own end-to-end customer implementations: pre-sales expertise, project kickoff, discovery, solution design, configuration, testing, go-live, and hypercare. Lead kickoff calls and workshops with customer stakeholders across business and technical teams Develop project plans, manage timelines, and keep implementations on track against customer milestones Partner with engineering to scope integrations and troubleshoot technical issues Drive adoption by building training programs, identifying champions, and helping customers change how they work Handle objections, navigate organizational resistance, and keep projects moving when stakeholders go sideways Surface expansion opportunities and hand off to sales for upsell/cross-sell Insurance Domain Expertise Serve as the internal expert on commercial insurance workflows, systems, and user needs. Support sales calls with domain credibility and insight to build trust with prospects and accelerate deals. Domain knowledge of London Market insurance, plus traditional carriers, MGAs and brokers is a must-have. Help design and validate insurance workflows to ensure our AI agents deliver measurable value Analyze model behavior and suggest improvements grounded in insurance domain logic Create evaluation sets and benchmarking frameworks that reflect real insurance tasks Contribute hands-on to grading outputs or validating model performance Product & Process Translate customer feedback and insurance domain insights into product improvements; advocate for customer needs with the product team Partner with engineering and product to shape features, evaluate model outputs, and iterate based on real-world use cases Build and codify delivery best practices—playbooks, templates, and documentation that reduce onboarding time for future hires Core Requirements Willing and able to work in London and travel to conferences/customers across the UK & Europe as needed. 5–10+ years of experience in commercial P&C insurance, preferably in underwriting and/or London market, claims, operations, or consulting roles 3+ years of experience leading customer implementations, enterprise deployments, or technical projects Deep understanding of insurance workflows, systems, regulatory considerations, and customer pain points Strong project management skills—capable of driving complex engagements with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities Excellent presentation skills—can command a room with executives and build credibility quickly with insurance professionals Comfortable handling objections and navigating customer resistance Demonstrated hunger, growth mindset, and comfort with ambiguity in a fast-paced startup environment Ideal Qualifications MBB or Big-Four Consulting background (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Accenture etc.) with insurance or financial services clients Experience implementing SaaS or AI products for enterprise insurance customers Technical fluency—comfortable discussing APIs, integrations, and data workflows (you don’t need to code, but you need to hold your own with engineers) Ability to translate real-world insurance processes into structured insights to inform product and AI model development Experience with change management and driving user adoption at scale Prior experience at a startup or high-growth company where you built processes from scratch Clear, concise communicator with strong analytical instincts and a customer-centric mindset If you have a strong insurance background, thrive in high-ownership environments, and want to shape the future of commercial insurance with AI—we want to hear from you.
