About the Job
This is an outstanding opportunity for a candidate with the right combination of academic aptitude, quantitative and communication skills. You’ll develop a wide range of insurance skills and experience working as part of a small in-house insurance team and as part of a large team of external industry experts.
We are looking for an Insurance Analyst to join our London-based team. Day to day, you’ll work closely with customer teams and the broker to establish and run insurance processes across the largest last mile logistics portfolio in Europe.

You’ll be based at our London City office. While we embrace a flexible approach to work, our policy requires working from the office three days a week.
What You’ll Do
- Understand and improve the quality of insurance data held on over 2,000 real estate assets and several thousand customers.
- Handle reporting, insurance data changes and data questions from internal and external customers.
- Coordinate between teams to set up and run processes to improve handling of real estate insurance data.
- Facilitate on-board and off-boarding of assets from an insurance perspective with Mileway and third-party teams.
- Support Construction Project Managers to insure their projects and on-board completed buildings.
- Help the finance and property management teams to re-charge premiums promptly and resolve any associated data issues.
- Support third party reinstatement valuers and manage the output from this programme.
- Prepare communications and training materials that will help insurers better understand Mileway and internal colleagues to reduce the overall cost of risk.
- As you learn more about the business and insurance program, handle day to day customer questions and requests.

What You’ll Bring
- 2-4 year’s experience working in similar positions in the Insurance industry (whether as an insurer, broker or in-house).
- Education to degree level or equivalent.
- Strong professional communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Other European languages are a plus.
- Advanced level Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- A willingness to learn and develop your skills in a small team.
- A hands-on approach and drive to get things done.
- A sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results.
- An understanding of good information management principles.
- Your passion for teamwork, organizational skills, and a desire to learn on the job.
- Your great team energy. You’re a hands-on self-starter who works confidently and independently, and you also collaborate well with others.
