The Vacancy
We are expanding our teams as part of our future acquisition strategy and are looking to recruit an Insurance Broking Accounts Administrator in our Insurer Reconciliation (IREC) division. This role will be based in our brand-new Finance Hub in Yeadon, near Leeds Bradford Airport.
The key objective of the role is to deliver a professional and efficient service to all clients while ensuring full FCA compliance and adherence to CASS5 rules and guidelines. Every business process and PAS (Policy Admin System) used within the JMG Group of companies must be followed.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accounts are settled within agreed credit terms and according to FCA CASS rules
- Refer any commission adjustments for review
- Align commission differences with handlers/brokers, ensuring system re-debit, correct client ledger-insurer ledger contra matching, and line items are settled on allPAS
- Identify and investigate discrepancies while performing statement reconciliations
- Conduct commission reconciliation in place of premium settlements
- Address queries from insurance companies
- Respond to internal referrals and queries
- Prepare payment files for cashbook upload to banking platforms and validate based on defined payment processes (with dual authorisation)
- Identify and report procedural or CASS5 breaches to the line manager for tracking in the Pentana compliance system
- Accurately process and maintain company business accounts
- Manage personal accounts and report concerns to the line manager or Technical Level 3 team members

Requirements
To succeed in this role, candidates should ideally bring:
- A background in accounts administration work
- Experience (or deep knowledge) of insurer reconciliation or relevant insurance industry expertise
- Intermediate-level MS Excel skills, along with proficiency in all MS Office packages
- Experience with broking systems (such as Acturis, OGI, SSP, TAM) would be advantageous
