Role Title: Domain Consultant – Specialty Insurance

Location: London, UK

Work Mode: Hybrid (2–3 days onsite per week)

Contract Duration: 12 Months


Infosys is seeking an experienced Domain Consultant with strong expertise in Specialty Insurance to support its client, Beazley. The successful candidate will work closely with business and technology teams to support underwriting, distribution, business analysis, and digital transformation initiatives across specialty insurance products.

This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in the London Market, underwriting processes, broker distribution, and insurance business transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Specialty Insurance Domain

  • Analyse underwriting processes across specialty insurance lines.
  • Support the submission-to-bind and policy lifecycle processes.
  • Work with broker and MGU distribution channels.
  • Provide subject matter expertise across specialty insurance products.

Business Analysis

  • Gather, validate, and document business requirements.
  • Prepare BRDs, use cases, and process flows.
  • Perform gap analysis and recommend business improvements.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for process optimisation.
  • Support digital underwriting and automation initiatives.
  • Contribute to insurance transformation programmes.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the liaison between business and IT teams.
  • Facilitate workshops and requirement gathering sessions.
  • Work closely with business SMEs and project stakeholders.

Testing & Delivery

  • Support UAT activities.
  • Validate business solutions.
  • Assist with deployment and post-go-live support.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of overall experience in the Insurance industry.
  • Strong experience within P&C (Property & Casualty) Insurance.
  • Expertise in Specialty Insurance products such as:
    • Cyber
    • Marine
    • Energy
    • Professional Liability
    • Excess & Surplus (E&S)
  • Strong understanding of underwriting processes.
  • Experience with submission-to-bind lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of broker and MGU distribution models.
  • Business Analysis experience including BRDs, process mapping, and gap analysis.
  • SDLC and Agile delivery experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • London Market Insurance experience.
  • Experience with specialty insurance platforms.
  • Digital underwriting transformation experience.
  • Knowledge of AI and digital trends within insurance.
