Insurance Claims & Premiums Handler

About the Role

Are you ready to take the next step in your insurance career with a global leader? Aon Business Services in Leicester is seeking an ambitious Insurance Claims & Premiums Handler to join their high-performing and collaborative team.

You’ll work with a diverse portfolio of international clients, becoming a trusted point of contact and contributing visibly to delivering outstanding service.

This predominantly claims-focused role starts with managing binder business, but with opportunities to expand into Reinsurance Excess of Loss and Facultative claims. You’ll enjoy structured learning, exposure to complex risks, and a clear path for career progression.

What the Day Will Look Like

As an Insurance Claims & Premiums Handler, you’ll keep client accounts running smoothly, accurately, and efficiently. Key responsibilities include:

  • Co-ordinating post-placement transactions, owning and managing workflows
  • Collaborating with the Global Capability Centre to process and submit:
    • Claims to both London and company markets
    • Premium transactions
    • Ensuring everything is accurate, timely, and compliant
  • Problem-solving proactively before issues escalate
  • Resolving client and underwriter queries with colleagues and stakeholders to smooth workflows
  • Controlling cash flow by proactively managing overdue balances and negotiating timely settlements with clients and carriers to preserve relationships
  • Working across teams to deliver a seamless experience:
    • Brokers
    • Client Managers
    • Other internal teams

Your journey starts with full, structured training and continuous support. As you grow, you’ll take increasing responsibility, manage your own client portfolio, build relationships with key market contacts, and play a pivotal role in serving some of the world’s leading organisations.

Experience in insurance or financial services is a bonus, but we especially welcome candidates with transferable skills eager to build a long-term career in insurance.
