Insurance Consultant

Due to company growth, The London Belgravia Group are looking to hire ambitious individuals to join our broking team.

We are a specialist provider of niche high value insurance services to the UK Property sector. This is a chance to join our team for enthusiastic individuals with a can-do attitude looking to develop a successful career at an organisation that is leading the way in their sector. The role consists of business development in the UK Property sector providing clients with exemplary levels of customer service when seeking and placing high value insurance policies.

We provide all product training required including professional training to meet the regulatory requirements of the Financial Conduct Authority.

The role consists of providing clients with specialist property insurance cover, our Brokers enjoy taking responsibility for themselves and aren’t afraid to seize ownership. You will need to meet targets and enjoy the requisite benefits of doing so. You will be motivated with an eagerness to learn and a hunger for success.

You will need to have a strong work ethic, experience in sales and enjoy working as part of a team, have the ability to liaise and sell to property developers and other associated bodies like architects, project managers and lawyers through regular communication and great interpersonal skills.

Requirements

  • You will have 2-3 years direct sales experience in a fast paced environment such as recruitment.
  • You will have a successful track record in a target driven environment.
  • Have a “hunter” sales mentality.
  • Have an understanding of the sales process.
  • Have extensive experience in face to face meetings.
  • You will be an enthusiastic and ambitious individual looking to develop a successful career.

Responsibilities

  • Generating new business enquiries through cold calls and warm calls, using the company’s CRM system.
  • Create a client base, build rapport with clients and attend meetings/site visits when required.
  • Be the point of contact for all client queries.
  • Liaise with underwriters and insurers to source quotes, offer clients advice and place insurances on clients behalf.
  • Effectively hand placed policies/clients over to the broker support team for any post-sale customer care.
  • Achieve personal revenue targets as issued by the Head of Broking.
