Insurance Consultant
Salary: Starting from £30,000.00 (depending on experience)
- Working hours: 35 per week, Monday to Friday
- Duration: Permanent
- Location: Stevenage
About the Role
Lloyd & Whyte, who are proudly part of the Benefact Group, are looking for an Insurance Consultant to join their PPS GI team in their Stevenage office.
As an Insurance Consultant, you will provide exceptional service and advice to clients in order to:
- Maximise client satisfaction
- Maintain high retention levels
- Achieve income targets in support of the overall business strategy
This role will support:
- Their Veterinary specialist team
- Their general insurance division

What You’ll Be Doing

Support and assist your Line Manager and the team to:
- Deliver retention and income targets
- Service KPIs
- Meet workflow standards

Provide on-hand support and coaching to the team ensuring:
- A consistent approach is adopted for process and advice
- All procedures and guidelines are followed

Maintain own technical competence with an in-depth knowledge of:
- All relevant products
- Market trends
- Underwriting guidelines, to effectively handle:
- Referrals
- Various complex work

Motivate and encourage the team to:
- Maximise all business opportunities
- Promote insurance reviews wherever possible
- Identify under-insurance
- Meet client survey targets

- Continually review and evaluate whether:
- Processes, systems and procedures could be improved
- Assist in implementation where required

- Confident and capable of building rapport over the telephone, to provide an excellent client experience
- Ability to work in a regulated, compliant and client-focused environment
