Professional Indemnity & Coverage Solicitor
Our client, a highly regarded specialist disputes practice in the City, is seeking a Solicitor with 8+ PQE to join its growing Professional Indemnity & Coverage team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced insurance lawyer looking to combine high-quality technical work with direct client exposure and a genuine route to partnership.
The Role
The successful candidate will handle a broad range of matters, including:
- Professional indemnity
- Insurance coverage and policy response advice
- Financial lines claims
- Broker negligence disputes
- Defence of claims
- Coverage disputes for insurers
- Recovery actions and strategic claims advice

Candidate Requirements
- 8+ PQE with strong professional indemnity experience
- Expertise in coverage, policy interpretation and indemnity issues
- Exposure to financial lines and insurer-side disputes
- Experience advising insurers, brokers and insureds
- Strong understanding of policy response and defence strategy
- Ability to manage complex claims and insurer relationships independently
- Experience supervising junior lawyers and contributing to team growth
Ideal Background
Candidates are likely to come from established insurance, professional indemnity, coverage or financial lines teams.
