Insurance Paralegal

Join a team of experts and progressive thinkers

The role

A vacancy has risen for a Paralegal to join our Insurance and Costs team within our Litigation, Advisory and Regulatory department.

The claims team acts for a wide range of private and public sector clients including insurance companies, local authorities, NHS Resolution and government bodies. We deal with claims arising from road traffic collisions, employers' and public liability and property damage claims, as well as insurance disputes and policy interpretation. Claims range in value from the low thousands to catastrophic claims with damages running to several million. The costs team provides support across the firm to clients referred by other teams and we also received direct costs instructions from external clients. Costs support runs through the lifetime of claims from reserving, advice on costs budgets and commercial decision making to negotiation of costs on conclusion of litigation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
