Insurance Representative Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an Insurance Representative to join us in our Bangor Branch!
About the Role
Joining us as an Insurance Representative, you will deliver a consistent quality service to all customers to deliver profitable growth through new business sales and renewals. You’ll have strong communication skills, with the ability to build great relationships based on Integrity and trust. What you’ll be doing
- Provide support in all aspects of the Branch Sales Office, proactively promoting a One Stop AXA Shop for all Retail and (segmented) Commercial Insurance, to deliver key objectives as set out in the Branch business activity plan.
- Support the delivery of branch profitability and sustainability, with strong premium and PIF local market growth, through a highly visible and local, market and community presence.
- Deliver a professional, sales focused ‘face to face’ customer experience, ensuring the branch is fully optimised within the locality, to engage, acquire and retain customers.
- Support full Customer engagement and sales optimisation through a combination of footfall, inbound and outbound telephony, together with fulfilment activity.
- Ensure maximum value is realised from every customer engagement through full cross sell and upsell optimization.
- Promote simplification and facilitate self-service, customer-first convenience, with a ‘human touch’ approach, eliminating inefficient, non-value branch activities.
- Leverage local customer base, with tailored customer engagement, incl. via MS teams, phone, branch visit.
- Supporting Branch Growth by developing trusted and sustainable relationships through proactive business, community, and affinity engagement.
- Support efficient prioritisation of workloads and resources to deliver key objectives, including product specific initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory /legislative requirements and governance procedures / policies, to conduct business in a fully compliant manner.
- Ensure adherence to branch cash handling and expense procedures.
- Participate in cross functional departmental projects when required.
- Identify market trends through local data analysis and provide feedback / insight for change consideration.

What we’re looking for

- 5 GCSEs [Grade A-C] including English and Maths is essential.
- Previous Insurance / Financial services experience would be beneficial but is not required.
- Understanding of Insurance Retail & Commercial products would be desirable.
- As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
