Insurance Solicitor, 6+ Years PQE, London/ Hybrid, Up to Circa GBP 90,000 DOE

The Role

You will manage a varied caseload of high value disputes, advising on policy coverage, indemnity and liability issues, reinsurance disputes and strategic advisory work. The role offers significant exposure to international matters, working closely with foreign local counsel, whilst also playing an active role in client relationship management, business development and the supervision and development of junior team members.

The Candidate

Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with a minimum of 6 Years PQE and strong experience in insurance litigation, policy coverage and defence work. Reinsurance experience is essential, together with a sound understanding of the London Market and the relationships between insurers, reinsurers, brokers and legal advisers. You will possess excellent technical drafting and analytical skills, strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage complex matters with minimal supervision. Experience supervising junior lawyers and contributing to business development initiatives will be highly advantageous.
