A leading Legal 500 ranked law firm is seeking an Insurance Solicitor or Senior Associate to join its growing Insurance, Risk & Regulatory team in London.
This opportunity would suit a lawyer with experience in insurance coverage and claims disputes, particularly within the property damage sector. The team advises insurers, reinsurers, MGAs, and other market participants on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious insurance matters, with a significant focus on complex property damage claims, policy interpretation, and coverage issues.

Key Responsibilities
- Advising on high-value and complex property damage claims across a range of sectors.
- Providing strategic coverage advice to insurers and reinsurers on property and related risks.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating insurance policy wordings, with a particular emphasis on property damage policies.
- Managing coverage disputes, including litigation and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
- Handling subrogated recovery actions and related claims.
- Representing clients in matters before the Commercial Court and Technology & Construction Court.
- Supporting clients on broader insurance, risk, and regulatory matters.
- Contributing to business development initiatives, client training, and thought leadership activities.

Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years' PQE gained within a recognised insurance practice or in-house insurance environment.
- Experience advising on property damage claims and coverage disputes.
- Strong knowledge of insurance and reinsurance principles.
- Excellent technical, drafting, and client management skills.
- A commercial and pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
