Intake Operative
Retail Intake Operatives – Full-Time Role
Working as part of our existing team, we are looking for determined and committed individuals to assist with the efficient running of our Retail Intake Departments. We’re seeking motivated team members who can drive performance and help shape the company’s future growth.
The Role
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Scanning products into and back from production
- Adhering to correct stock rotation procedures
- Checking yields at the end of production and investigating any issues
- Scanning pallets
- Stacking products correctly in chills (refrigerated areas)
- Conducting stocktaking
- Selecting correct customer orders
- Loading containers
- Ensuring orders are accurate and error-free
- Handling clerical duties associated with product despatch

The Person
Essential Criteria
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong written and verbal English
- Ability to work on your own initiative while thriving in a team environment to deliver high-level customer service
- Flexible attitude to work, including the ability to work additional hours when required to meet customer demand.
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience in the food industry (a plus).
