At Cancer Research UK, we exist to beat cancer. We’re looking for an experienced and commercially minded Integrated Marketing Senior Manager/Lead to join Cancer Research UK’s Marketing, Fundraising and Engagement team. In this pivotal role, you’ll act as the senior interface with our media and creative agency partners, ensuring delivery that is on scope, on budget and to the high standards our brand demands.

Working at the heart of a fast-paced, collaborative environment, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we deliver campaigns that inspire action and drive impact. Every day will bring new challenges, from managing complex agency relationships to optimising performance across media and creative output. You’ll be surrounded by people who are as dedicated to beating cancer as you are, and together, you’ll help ensure every pound spent delivers maximum impact for our cause.

What will I be doing?

  • Owning the relationship with our media and creative agency partners, ensuring work is delivered to scope, cost and quality expectations
  • Managing annual scopes of work, challenging scope creep and maintaining clear accountability for what sits within agreed delivery
  • Overseeing media and creative spend, maintaining a single source of truth and reconciling costs against approved scope
  • Leading on agency performance, ensuring output meets agreed briefs, timelines and CRUK quality standards
  • Acting as the senior operational contact for agency stakeholders, resolving issues and managing delivery risk across campaigns
  • Building and embedding strong commercial governance, including cost tracking, audits and contract management frameworks

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
