Integration Engineer | Azure | 6-Month Contract | Inside IR35
Location: Old Bailey, London EC4M
Working pattern: Hybrid, 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home
Contract: 6 months, inside IR35
McCabe & Barton is working with a leading investment manager seeking an experienced Azure Integration Engineer / Developer with a strong Site Reliability Engineering mindset.
You will design, build, deploy, and operate scalable integration solutions across Azure and on-premises environments. The role combines hands-on development with operational responsibility, with a particular focus on Azure Service Bus, Azure API Management, and Azure Functions.

Key experience required:
- Strong Azure Integration Services experience, including Azure Functions, Service Bus, and Event Grid
- Deep knowledge of Azure Service Bus, including queues, topics, subscriptions, sessions, and dead-lettering
- Hands-on Azure API Management experience, including policies, authentication, routing, throttling, and lifecycle management
- Strong C#/.NET development skills, with JavaScript or TypeScript advantageous
- Experience implementing resilient integration patterns, automation, monitoring, and error handling
- Understanding of SRE principles, observability, reliability engineering, and reducing operational toil
- Experience with infrastructure as code, ideally ARM or Bicep
- Strong knowledge of Azure security, governance, and Entra ID
