Numi is partnering with a leading global food and beverage retailer undergoing a major digital transformation to recruit for the following position:
The Role
The Integrations Engineer will be hands-on in the day-to-day build and operation of the company's modern integration estate. You will primarily work on Azure (APIM, Logic Apps, Function Apps, Service Bus, and Event Grid), connecting key SaaS systems—including Workday, Oracle Simphony, NetSuite, and various e-commerce platforms—into core data, finance, and operational systems. All new integration assets are being built on Azure. There is also a legacy Mulesoft Anypoint estate which the team is actively migrating away from; you will contribute directly to migrating these individual flows onto the modern Azure stack.
Working as part of a collaborative, fast-paced team, you will write clean, well-tested Azure code, actively participate in peer reviews, and grow rapidly under strong technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Build: Build, test, and operate integrations on the Azure stack, including APIs in APIM, Logic Apps workflows, Function Apps (Python or TypeScript), Service Bus topics/queues, and Event Grid subscriptions
- API Management: Build and maintain APIs in Azure APIM, including OpenAPI specs, policies, security, and rate limiting
- Event-Driven Architecture: Develop message-based integrations using Service Bus, Event Grid, and Function Apps
- Legacy Migration: Support the controlled wind-down of the legacy Mulesoft estate, keeping existing flows operating reliably while helping to re-platform them onto Azure
- Monitoring & Support: Monitor production integrations using Application Insights and Log Analytics; investigate failures and conduct root-cause analysis
- DevOps & CI/CD: Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for seamless integration deployment using GitHub Actions
- Collaboration: Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, retrospectives) and support UAT cycles run by Business Analysts to bridge the technical and business sides of testing
- On-Call: Participate in the team’s on-call rota for critical integration incidents

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
