Integration Engineer - XHEV

The Role

You’ll be engaged with a global Original Equipment Manufacturer, specialising in mid- and luxury segment cars and SUVs, focusing on vehicle integration, calibration, and software testing activities in hybrid (XHEV) vehicle programs.


Key Accountabilities

  • Work on Powertrain (PT) systems, leveraging your calibration experience
  • Perform PCM calibration and software integration using tools like ETAS, INCA, and V-Box
  • Generate test logs and conduct Level 0 data analysis
  • Understand and engage with associated systems involved in testing
  • Support vehicle-level testing and integration activities
  • Gain exposure to central software teams and vector network tools

Essential Requirements

  • UK Class 3 driving licence (mandatory)
  • 1PG–3PG approval for vehicle assignments (mandatory for future roles)
  • Ability to handle vehicle assignments, starting with a Class 3 licence and progressing to higher approval levels
  • Capability to operate in an XHEV (hybrid vehicle) integration environment
  • Support collaboration with central software teams and familiarity with vector network tools
