Integration Platforms & Delivery Lead
Location: Bristol HQ or Exeter HQ
Security Clearance: SC eligible
Salary: £70,000 – £90,000 (dependent on experience)
Purpose of the Role
As Integration Engineering Manager, you will lead the delivery and ongoing evolution of our enterprise integration capability, ensuring systems, platforms, applications, and third-party services connect securely, reliably, and effectively.
Your Responsibilities
- Own the integration roadmap and lead delivery teams and partners.
- Govern integration standards to ensure critical data and event flows support operations, regulatory reporting, and customer outcomes.
- Strengthen operational performance and long-term platform resilience.
This is a role for a leader who thrives under complexity – cutting through legacy systems to stabilise estates and build a modern integration capability fit for the future of the water sector.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop an outcome-led integration strategy and roadmap encompassing:
- APIs, events, batch processing, OT/IT integration, and legacy platforms
- Deliver integration change end-to-end: predictable, high quality with real business value alignment
- Govern and optimise integration platforms, such as MuleSoft, BizTalk, SSIS, FME, and specialist tooling
- Prioritise the integration backlog, balancing regulatory commitments, operational resilience, and transformation
- Ensure integrity, movement, and quality of operational data across external systems
- Integrate IoT, telemetry, and SCADA data for near-real-time operational insight

Experience Required
- Proven ability to own enterprise integration in a multi-system, regulated environment (preferably utilities or infrastructure).
- Strong expertise in strategy → build → live service → optimisation.
- Experience managing mixed legacy and modern integration estates, with systems transformation.
- Confidence leading multi-team, multi-supplier models.
- Deep understanding of integration architecture, governance, and operational data management.
- Skilled at prioritisation and investment decisions under pressure.

Qualifications:
- A degree-level education.
- A professional qualification or accreditation (e.g., Agile, Scrum, SAFe, PRINCE2, MSP).
