Integration Manager
Integration Manager – Swindon – Permanent – Up to £70,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Integration Manager to establish and lead a brand-new Integration and Test Cell within a rapidly growing aerospace and defence manufacturing environment.
This is a unique greenfield role where you will build the operation from the ground up—designing the facility layout, defining processes, selecting equipment, recruiting the team, and delivering flight-ready unmanned aircraft platforms at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the setup and commissioning of the Integration and Test Cell
- Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing integration and test team
- Define processes, work instructions, and quality standards
- Own system integration, functional testing, and final product acceptance
- Drive industrialisation from prototype and low-rate production to serial manufacture
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams
- Host customer acceptance activities and ensure delivery to schedule, quality, and cost targets
- Champion Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making

About You
You will have:
- Significant experience leading integration, final assembly, or test teams within aerospace, defence, automotive, or another highly regulated manufacturing environment
- A proven track record of setting up new production cells, lines, or facilities
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical integration, testing, and configuration management
- Experience building and developing teams in a manufacturing setting
- A hands-on leadership style with a passion for continuous improvement
