Company Description
Branches (Waltham Forest Churches Night Shelter Ltd) is a registered charity that provides support and resettlement services for single people experiencing homelessness in Walthamstow, London. The organisation operates a 27-bed purpose-built hostel, offering accommodation for adults aged 18 to 65 years for up to 18 months. Branches also manages a move-on property in Waltham Forest for individuals ready to progress from the hostel but not yet prepared for fully independent living. Through innovative and person-centred support, Branches helps residents make sustainable changes and address the root causes of homelessness. The overall aim is to support people to move on to successful, stable, independent living after their stay.
We are recruiting for a dynamic individual who will provide integrative therapy for residents in our hostel and for service users who have moved to our second-stage accommodation, ‘Stepping Stones’. This role will suit a practitioner who works confidently within evidence-based, structured therapeutic models and who is comfortable delivering both individual and group-based therapy.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
