Integrity & Assurance Associate (Data Rights)
We're looking for an Integrity & Assurance Associate (Data Rights) to join our team in Bradford on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a hybrid role, with two days per week in the office.
Are you passionate about data privacy, compliance, and protecting individuals' rights? We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Integrity & Assurance Associate to play a key role in managing Data Subject Rights Requests (DSRs) across the business.
In this role, you'll help ensure that requests are handled accurately, efficiently, and in line with UK GDPR, GDPR, and wider data protection legislation. Working closely with teams across Legal, IT, Information Security, and the wider business, you'll help safeguard personal data, maintain compliance standards, and contribute to a strong culture of integrity and responsible data governance.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with stakeholders, and making a meaningful impact in a highly regulated environment.
What will you be doing?
- Manage the end-to-end process for Data Rights requests, including intake, identity verification, information gathering, review, redaction, and response delivery within required timeframes.
- Ensure all requests are handled in line with applicable data protection legislation, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
- Collaborate with Legal, IT, Information Security, and business stakeholders to gather information and provide accurate, complete responses.
- Support the continuous improvement of Data Rights processes, documentation, templates, and workflows, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and automation.
- Identify, assess, and escalate complex or high-risk requests where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting of Data Rights activities, helping to track trends, service levels, and compliance performance.
- Contribute to awareness initiatives and training programmes that promote understanding of Data Rights and data privacy responsibilities.
- Develop and maintain expertise in GDPR and wider data protection regulations to support broader privacy and compliance activities.
- Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to develop new skills, supporting additional assurance and compliance workstreams as business needs evolve.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
